"BOYS"

Bob
Hubbard
Lead
Singer
and
Master
of
Ceremonies
July
3rd
Bob
was the
original
lead
singer
with
the
famous
"Jordanaires"
quartet
on the
Grand
Old
Opry in
Nashville.
He was
also a
regular
on the
NBC's
"Ozark
Jubilee"
starring
Red
Foley
in the
early
'50's.
He
began
his
career
in show
business
at the
age of
9 doing
stand-up
comedy
as a
vetriloquist.
He and
his
wife
Reba,
live in
Branson.
Bob is
a
retired
minister
in the
Christian
Church
and
still
preaches
at
revivals
and
special
services.

John
Shepherd
Baritone
Singer
October
28th
John
was
raised
in
Sarcoxie,
MO,
where
he
learned
music
as a
trumpet
player
in the
high
school
band.
He was
also a
part of
the
vocal
music
program
doing
solo
and
ensemble
work.
As fate
would
have
it,
Dale
Sullens
helped
John as
his
high
school
music
music
teacher.
John
later
attended
Missouri
Southern
College
and
received
his
degree
in
Business
Administration.
During
the
theatre
years,
John
was
responsible
for the
technical/lighting
design
and the
multi-media
aspects
of the
show.
Today,
John
stays
just as
busy
owning
and
operating
the
Branson
E-Z
Center
convenience
center
which
includes
store,
motel
and
Baskin
Robbins.

Denzel
Koontz
Bass
Singer
Denzel
Koontz
wore
many
hats
through
the
years.
Most
people
knew
him as
a great
bass
singer,
but
some
knew
him as
a
farmer
and
many
knew
him as
the
Postmaster
of
LaRussell,
MO.
For a
number
of
years,
he
would
insure
folks
got
their
mail,
then
jump in
the car
to dash
off to
Branson
to sing
those
low-down
bass
notes.
During
the
theatre
years,
Denzel
also
served
as
General
Manager
for the
Foggy
River
Boys
and
made
sure
the
business
end
operated
perfectly.
Denzel
passed
away,
July
27th,
2003.
His
wonderful
wife of
51 years,
Peggy,
still
makes
her home in
Branson.

Dale
Sullens
Tenor
Singer
June
27th
Dale
began
his
music
education
in
Jasper,
Missouri
at the
age of
seven.
He was
a
gifted
musician,
and at
the age
of
eight,
was the
youngest
member
of the
high
school
band.
Dale
received
his
Master's
Degree
in
music
from
Pittsburg
State
College
and
served
as
music
director
of
several
high
schools
in the
four-state
area.
Dale
and his
wonderful
wife,
Janeth,
make
their
home in
Monett,
Missouri.
Without
a
doubt,
music
is in
his
blood.
These
days
Dale
owns and operates a lawn care business.
Of course,
you
can
always
find
him
playing
golf
during
his
spare
time.

Carl
Wade
Lead
&
Harmony
Singer
November
9th
Carl
is
talented
man
who,
for
many
years,
served
as
Theatre
Manager
for the
Foggy
River
Boys.
Not
only a
talented
businessman,
Carl is
a
gifted
singer
and
magician.
He had
his own
company,
"The
World
of
Magic,"
and
traveled
the
midwest
as a
professional
musician
for a
number
of
years.
Today,
Carl
owns
and
operates
Ozark
Country
Vacations,
specializing
in
planning
the
perfect
Branson
vacation.

Jerry
Dykes
Fiddle
&
Guitar
June
5th
Jerry
Dykes
is a
musician's,
musician!
Equally
talented
on the
fiddle,
guitar
and
bass
guitar,
Jerry
is the
guy
that
every
Branson
show
calls
on when
they
need
someone
to fill
in.
For
many
years
he had
his own
band in
Las
Vegas
and
opened
for and
accompanied
many of
the
biggest
stars
in the
country.
Jerry
first
came to
Branson
with
Chisai
Childs,
Starlite
Theatre
in the
80's.
Then as
luck
would
have
it,
Jerry
became
one the
Foggy
River
Boys
and has
delighted
FRB
fans
for
many
years!.

Mike
Patrick
Piano
&
Comedian
May
17th
Mike
Patrick
wears
many
hats!
Not
only a
talented
pianist
and
comedian,
Mike is
just as
ease in
the
boardroom
planning
and
producing
family
entertainment
for Grand Country Square.
As a
young
boy,
Mike
always
dreamed
of
performing
with
Branson
legends,
the Foggy
River
Boys.
Mike
commented,
"I
had
every
8-track
FRB
ever
made!
It was
a dream
come
true
the day
I got
the
call
they
wanted
me to
play
piano
for
them.
It's
been a
joy
working
with
these
talented
gentlemen
ever
since!"
